Based in our Edmonton office, Brent is an industry-leading expert with over 25 years of experience who uses his authentic and genuine approach to establish strategic and constructive partnerships with stakeholders while fostering trusted business relationships.

Brent is the President and CEO of Korte Consulting, a premier pharmaceutical consulting firm established in 2015 and joins CSG as a Senior Advisor. He uses his public policy expertise in provincial and national markets to guide clients in government relations, market access, reimbursement, strategy development and implementation throughout Canada.

Prior to establishing his successful consulting firm, Brent held numerous roles at Janssen Canada in sales, marketing, sales management, market access, and advocacy. He spent his last five years at Janssen as the National Director of Market Access and Government Relations.

Throughout his career, Brent has led teams, mentored leaders, and executed strategies and tactics in product strategy development, real-world evidence, and product listing agreements. He possesses multi-therapeutic experience and expertise in oncology, immunology, biologics, and rare diseases and is known as a consensus-builder who delivers results.

Brent also shares his passion for health and wellness with his community. He volunteers as the Chair of the Alberta Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), participates as a Board Member and Chair of the Policy Committee for BioAlberta, and is a Board member of the Canadian Association for Healthcare Reimbursement (CAHR). He also volunteers as a coach for the University of Alberta Golden Bears Football team.

As a lifelong Albertan, Brent is a proud graduate of the University of Alberta. He, his wife Cheryl, and their two adult sons call the Edmonton Capital Region home. They are actively involved in their community and are big sports fans of the Edmonton Elks, Edmonton Oilers, and Golden Bears.
