With more than 35 years of experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Cathy is a veteran strategist and proven winner, influencing more than $500 million in investments in Western Canada. Over the course of her career, she has advised elected officials, corporate and non-profit boards, and business leaders, helping them navigate complex political, policy, and regulatory environments while building strong relationships during times of change.

Cathy began her career in the Alberta legislature, where she was a political advisor to cabinet ministers and premiers. In 2010, she became the vice president of corporate relations, marketing, and agriculture with Edmonton Northlands. Seven years later, she founded Crown Strategic Consulting, a public affairs firm with provincial, national, and international clients. There, she put her experience to work across multiple sectors, including municipal governance and administration, transportation, infrastructure, health and life sciences, innovation, and economic development. 

Cathy has contributed to numerous community organizations, including the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, United Way Cabinet, and Edmonton Police Foundation. She currently serves on the boards of Claystone Waste and Wee Wild Ones. In 2020, she was nominated by Scotiabank for the Woman Entrepreneur Award at the Alberta Chamber of Commerce Business Awards of Distinction.
