Krista is a public affairs and communications professional based in Calgary with a strong government relations and strategy development background. Before joining CSG, she worked in the post-secondary landscape, supporting municipal advocacy strategies and initiatives. Krista brings significant experience in issues management and crisis communications, developed through her work with a national public affairs firm, and is skilled in building effective advocacy, communication and  stakeholder engagement strategies across a wide range of sectors.

Before pursuing higher education, she spent 15 years managing events for commercial property management firms in Calgary and as a stage manager for live theatre productions. Her international experience includes time at the Old Vic Theatre in London, UK, where she created and produced a show highlighting the talents of the front-of-house staff.  

Krista currently serves on the board of Handsome Alice, a Calgary-based independent theatre company dedicated to amplifying women’s voices in the arts. She holds a bachelor of arts (BA) degree in political science from the University of Calgary and a certificate in public policy analysis from the London School of Economics.
