Vanessa is a driven and globally minded professional who brings a strong foundation in international business, communications, and cultural engagement to her role as Policy & Public Affairs Coordinator at Canadian Strategy Group.

Vanessa’s professional experience spans student advising, marketing, and digital communications. Most recently, she supported global mobility and intercultural learning as an Education Abroad Research Assistant at MacEwan University, where she advised exchange students, coordinated events, and developed communications materials. She has also managed social media and promotional strategies for entertainment and sporting organizations, including contributing to on-site fan engagement with Hockey Canada during the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from MacEwan University, where she majored in International Business and minored in Marketing, as well as an MSc in International Management from Trinity College Dublin. Her academic journey also includes a year-long exchange at the Université Catholique de Lille in France, strengthening her cross-cultural insight and global perspective.

Outside of work, Vanessa is passionate about travel and cultural exchange — having visited 24 countries to date. She enjoys skiing, hiking, photography, and spending quality time with friends and family.
